pre workout nutrition

I have been reading alot of information on having just protein and fats pre workout or jus tprotein and veggies?? Just wanted to get the Doc’s thoughts on this???

Well protein is clearly the most critical element to have before workouts. But you do want to make sure that it is a fast-digesting protein to offer you benefits during the workout. You certainly do not have to have conventional carbs before workouts.
