Cardio In HIIT 100 Program

Hi Jim,

I am collecting some fat burning workouts for my next year exercise plan and your HIIT 100 plan is at the top of the list. One of the most important priorities is my heart health. As doctors always recommend cardiovascular or aerobic exercise for heart health, I am just wondering that if I can add cardio in your HIIT 100 program. Is it ok to add 30 – 45 minutes cardio in it? I can do cardio in morning and do HIIT at evening or should I do cardio after HIIT 100 workout?

I am 30 years old, Weight = 162 lb (73.6 KG), Height = 5' 7.7", body Fat = 13.1%. If I add this cardio in HIIT 100 Will this be considered overtraining for me?

No, I don’t think the extra cardio will lead to overtraining, especially if you are accustomed to working out. And you can add the cardio anywhere you find it works best for your schedule.
