BCAA Ratios - Which is best?

Hello again Jim!

I keep seeing the BCAA ratios jump in supplements. It started at 2:1:1 and now I’m finding products up to 10:1:1. I understand that EAAs need to be present for the higher doses of Leucine to be effective, but I’m wondering, is there any research backing a 10:1:1 vs 2:1:1? Or is it possible that maybe after 4:1:1 the extra leucine is just going to waste?

Michael – yes, leucine is important but there really isn’t any research showing anything higher than a 2:1:1 ratio is any better. So stick with the 2:1:1 and you’ll be fine!
