Three years ago I was in the best shape of my life at 43. 9% Bodyfat for the first time ever. I was in the gym, starting Shortcut to Size...and I had a heart attack. It was genetically (not Jym-related) caused (my Dad died of a heart attack at 54). After a couple of years of depression and fear, and after consulting my cardiologist, I restarted Shortcut To Size...mostly because I hate leaving something started without finishing it; and partly because I was afraid the intensity of it would give me another heart attack. I have followed Stoppani's advice to the letter. Macros, calorie intake, and training. I just finished Phase One, and I have NEVER seen results like this. Weigh has stayed at 220, but BF has dropped an astounding 3% in 4 weeks! I have lost two inches in my gut, and have packed on almost 5 lbs of newbie muscle. More importantly, I am no longer afraid to hit it hard. Bring. It. On.
