The Program

The Daily Grind was my original full-body protocol, designed specifically to maximize fat loss. Research proves that full-body workouts are more effective for burning fat than bodypart splits. Designed specifically to maximize fat loss, The Daily Grind was my original full-body protocol – where all major muscle groups are trained in every workout, five consecutive days each week. Research proves that full-body workouts are more effective for burning fat than bodypart splits.

You’ll also follow an undulating periodization scheme and use a trio of intensity techniques (supersets, drop sets, and rest-pauses) to gain muscle size and strength.

The Daily Grind was previously available only as an in-gym training program. But because many people are still training at home, I created an at-home version of The Daily Grind using resistance bands instead of free weights and machines. All sets, reps, and training techniques are the same with the bands-only version – and so are the results!

You won’t be doing the New Year’s Challenge alone, even if you’re training at home. Many others in the JYM Army will be doing the exact same training program and diet along with you – and I’ll be doing it, too!

I’ll be doing weekly tutorials live on social media to cover all the finer points of The Daily Grind program (gym and at-home versions). What You Need To Know

Register Register January 1 – 20

The 2021 New Year’s Challenge is a 5-week program. Registration will be open from January 1 to January 20.

Before “Before” Photos

Photos are required in order to be eligible to win the New Year’s Challenge. Start by uploading a “before” photo of yourself holding a newspaper for verification.

After Weekly Progress and “After” Photos

You’ll also be required to take and upload weekly progress photos, plus one last photo after you complete the program displaying your final Challenge results.

Grand Prizes

One man and one woman will be selected to win Grand Prizes, based off individual transformations from before, weekly, and after photos. Winners will be selected by myself and the JYM Supplement Science team.
