I was a 22 year old 2 pack a day smoker with pre diabetes. My doctor told me I needed to make some changes or I was on my way to the grave. I walked out that day, threw my pack of cigarettes in the garbage and made a personal commitment to my health. My goal was to be in the best shape of my life at 42 then I was at 22.
