Defying one’s age can be a strong motivator. Marty Hernandez’s 50th birthday is approaching, and instead of dreading the number, she’s driven by it.
“At the outset of my fitness journey, my primary goal was to enter my 50th year feeling fit and healthy,” she says. “I wanted to shed the feeling of being out of shape and low energy that had plagued me for so long.”
