The 3 JimStoppani.com programs I chose for this year’s Challenge work perfectly together to help you build muscle while also dropping body fat fast. Plus, the best male and female transformations at the end of each 4-week program (Phases 1, 2, and 3) will score gift cards worth $250 at the JYMSupps.com store. Here’s a quick rundown of the complete 12-week plan, broken up into each 4-week phase:

Phase1

Phase 1: Show Time
Registration open 4/12 to 4/30

Sign up during Phase 1 and get off to a fast start in building muscle and dropping body fat with the supersets, linear and reverse linear periodization, and HIIT cardio in my Show Time program. Six weekly workouts will have you training each muscle group twice a week via a 3-day split.

Phase2-blk

Phase 2: Drop Set Countdown
Registration begins 5/10

Continue your Phase 1 progress or jump into the Challenge in Phase 2 for my 4-week Drop Set Countdown program. This block features a 5-day training split where each muscle group is worked only once a week. Each of those workouts consists of drop sets – 10 per exercise – that will fatigue your muscles into growing and provide a metabolic boost for continued fat loss. The HIIT cardio sessions from Show Time will carry over into this phase to maximize the shred.

Phase3-blk

Phase 3: Giant Program
Registration begins 6/7

From drop sets, you’ll move onto giant sets – 4 exercises for a single muscle group performed consecutively with no rest – to take intensity, muscle building, and fat loss to another level. You’ll do 6 workouts per week this final month, using a 3-day split and training each muscle group twice weekly. HIIT cardio will peak during this phase… and so will your results.

Easy-to-Follow Diet and Supplement Plans

Fuel your workouts and maximize shredding by following one of my proven nutrition and supplement plans. To prioritize fat loss, I recommend Dieting 101. To maximize lean muscle gains, try my Muscle-Building Rules. Both plans map out exactly what foods to eat and what JYM supplements to take.

Train at Home or in the Gym

Like all of my training plans on JimStoppani.com, Show Time, Drop Set Countdown, and Giant Program can all be easily customized to any home gym setup. If you’re not back to the gym yet, no problem! Do all the workouts with resistance bands, dumbbells, a barbell and plates, or whatever other equipment you have at home.

What You Need To Know

Register Register for Phase 1 April 12-30

For the full 12-week Summer Shred Challenge, Phase 1 registration ends April 30. Current or new Sign-ups for Phase 2 begin May 10th, and Phase 3 registration opens June 7th.

Before “Before” Photos

Photos are required in order to be eligible to win the Summer Shred Challenge. Start by uploading a “before” photo of yourself holding a newspaper for verification.

After Weekly Progress and “After” Photos

You’ll also be required to take and upload weekly progress photos, plus one last photo after you complete the program displaying your final Challenge results.

Prizes

There will be multiple winners in the Summer Shred Challenge – 6 total monthly winners (3 males, 3 females) and one Grand Prize Winner. Prizes will be based off individual transformations from before, weekly, and after photos. Winners will be selected by myself and the JYM Supplement Science team.
