When Amanda Day set out to transform her body in the 2024 Shortcut to Shred Challenge , she wasn’t looking for a quick fix.
“My goal was just to find a maintainable diet and workout routine that would help me tone up and get results,” she says.
In just six weeks, she not only achieved her goals but also became the female grand prize winner of the Shortcut to Shred Challenge, walking away with $10,000 and a trip to Hollywood.
As a stay-at-home mom of three young kids, Amanda knew her health had to become a priority—not just for herself but to inspire her children. "I wanted to be a strong example for them and show how making health a priority is not only possible but worth it," she says.
With this purpose in mind, she dove headfirst into the Shortcut to Shred program .
For Amanda, the biggest key to her success was consistency.
She didn’t look for shortcuts or gimmicks; she focused on a balanced, sustainable approach. The journey wasn’t without challenges, especially balancing workouts with the demands of motherhood, but Amanda’s commitment never wavered.
“Finding space in the day to focus on myself wasn’t always easy, but pushing myself harder during workouts and getting really intentional with my nutrition became non-negotiables,” she says. "What truly made the difference was having the mindset that I was going to do this—and giving it 100%."
