The hex bar is not only great for shrugs and deadlifts, but for bent-over rows, too.

When you do bent-over rows with a barbell, your range of motion is a bit limited at the top as the bar touches your abs. But with the hex bar, the bar clears your body, allowing you to pull your elbows up higher in the top position, which helps to increase the muscle-fiber involvement, especially in the lower lat
