Jeremy Erdman’s transformation story began in February 2024, when he found himself starting over at 43 years old.
After being away for five years and struggling with depression, he knew one thing he could control was his health. “I was way overweight and hated looking at myself in the mirror,” Jeremy says. “But I knew exactly where to start: my health.”
Having been a member of the JYM Army since 2015, the first thing Jeremy did was download the Jim Stoppani Workout app. Then he started the Beginner to Advanced 12-Week Program .
“I didn’t have much money, but I made sure to get Pro JYM and Alpha JYM X ,” he says. “When I could, I added Pre JYM .”
Jeremy was committed to staying consistent with his nutrition, even if it meant sacrifices.
“I made sure to eat in a calorie deficit, which for me was 1900 calories,” he says. “I made sure to get 200 grams of protein a day, and filled the rest with carbs and fats.”
However, after missing some of the foods he craved, Jeremy found a way to stick to his plan without compromising. “I didn’t let it get me off track,” he shares.
Jeremy’s dedication to his diet, combined with Dr. Stoppani’s programs, helped him shed the weight and move forward toward his goals.
Fitness is all about making adjustments to keep the results coming, and sometimes training around an injury (which Jeremy exerpienced with a minor back injury).
“I switched my cardio to running on the treadmill for a minute at a time,” he says. “That sped up my fat loss tremendously.”
This new approach led him to the Super-Man Remastered Challenge , where he began at 188 pounds and finished at 166 pounds. “When the New Year’s Challenge came up, I jumped right in,” Jeremy says. “After completing Shortcut to Shred , I reached my goal weight of 155 pounds.”
Jeremy’s journey didn’t end with his transformation.
“I feel amazing at 43,” he says. “My back and knees feel better, and I can look at myself in the mirror again. Now, my friends and family ask what I did to lose the weight, and I act like their personal trainer!”
Looking ahead, Jeremy plans to continue his fitness journey with Dr. Stoppani’s programs. “I’m currently doing the Rock Hard Challenge ,” he shares. “I’ll keep tracking my calories and sticking to the plan.”
