Today, November 11, 2011, is Veteran's Day.

And I hope you all took a moment to reflect on all the men and women who serve or have served on our behalf.

Today also happens to be 11/11/11.

Whether you believe that the date 11/11/11 has some deep meaning, or it's just another Friday is up to you.

To me, 11/11/11 does mean something!

It means another excuse to modify workouts in an effort to shock the muscles and keep growing bigger and stronger. So in honor of 11/11/11 I have an "11"-inspired training technique for you.

Many of you may know what German Volume Training (GVT) is.

In brief, this is basically a technique where you do 10 sets of 10 reps for one exercise per muscle group with one minute of rest between each set.

11/11/11 Training is a tweak on GVT and it involves doing 11 sets of 11 reps for one exercise per muscle group resting only 1 minute between sets and using the same weight for all sets.
